Spray Paint on Wall

By definition, definitions define. Duh! So 'Gallery' was an intervention on
everyday objects in an attempt to redefine them with signage. By spraying the
word 'gallery' near signs, objects, and happenings I was attempting to very
directly question how we define what is or is not art. And more importantly, attempting
to transform the vernacular into the extraordinary.
Over the course of three years I produced countless "galleries", one of which
went on to become a recognized art and cultural space...

Other locations where a gallery stencil had been left actually began to grow with
artworks. Almost over night a kudzu-like growth of paintings and photographs
would emerge until the location became a salon of collective works. This continued
for years and some locations are still in fluctuation.
