LUMEN8 envisions a new way to personalize one's cellular communication by incorportating hand writing and text messaging. Using a mobile phone's built in accelerometer Lumen8 alters ones gestural hand movements into a visual that can sent as an image to a friend. LUMEN8 allows for more expressive means of mobile communication than current forms of texting. It also circumnavigate certain restrictions on amount of characters in a message by outputting images.
