Ever since I moved from the crayon to the pen I've been interested in
portraiture but never gave it much attention. It wasn't really until I moved
to a new city and realized how much I missed my friends that I sought out a
solution to make them feel closer.
These first portraits are of some of my best friends; most of which comprise
the Sleepytime family of artists, printers, and photographers (and at
times nest builders). They are some of the greatest people I've ever met and
by putting them back into my environment it gives me some friendly peace of
mind.
